REAL FEATURES · team channels & threads, patient inbox, and fax ship in the product today
Live · pick a message type
The right channel,
every time.
Every message type has one correct route. Click each to see where it goes — and where it never goes.
CHANNEL DISCIPLINE · SMS carries two-factor codes and patient notifications. Campaigns never ride on SMS.
Setting it up
One inbox, set up once.
Channels are a clinic setting, not a per-message decision. Once they are set, each message type has one correct route.
- Settings → Messaging. The SMS number, the fax line, and the address replies come back to. Both lines are included — there is nothing to buy separately.
- Route each message type. Two-factor and appointment notifications by SMS. Results to the portal. Campaigns by email. Prescriptions by fax.
- Open the team channels. Front desk, clinical, whatever else the clinic runs — threads that live inside the record rather than in a group text.
- Point the pharmacy fax where it belongs. Prescriptions out, confirmations back, filed against the prescription they answer.
Where the edges are
What it does not do.
The boundaries, so nothing here is a surprise after you sign up.
- The channel is not a preference. Campaigns go by email. SMS is reserved for two-factor sign-in and patient notifications, and is never used for marketing.
- No clinical detail in a text. Results go to the portal with an email nudge, because a text message is not a place for a lab value.
- A fax confirmation is filed, not forwarded. It lands on the chart against the prescription it answers, rather than in somebody’s inbox.
Questions people ask
Before you ask us.
And if the answer you want is not here, ask — questions are free.
Can we send a promotion by text?
No. SMS carries two-factor sign-in and patient notifications. Campaigns go by email — that is a design decision, not a setting.
Is the SMS or fax line an extra subscription?
No. Both are included with every plan.
Where does a pharmacy confirmation end up?
On the chart, filed against the prescription it answers.
Do patient messages live in a separate app?
No. A patient thread attaches to the patient, inside the record everyone is already working in.
Retire two more subscriptions.
SMS and fax lines are included.
